1st Annual team Crafty ornament competition

The Grips:

Plenty of respect to the grips for being the first department to enter. An ingenious use of making a snow flake out of a KN95 mask. To finish it off, an outstandingly terrible pun of "Merry 'Grip'-mas" Bravo!

The Ad Team:

Another Department using Covid supplies to make an ornament. This time? The "Hand 'Santa'-tizer. Fantastic pun. Solid Design. Great job!

The BG:

Is it big? Yes. Is it Christmas-y? Sure. Does it shameless contain headshots? Absolutely! They definitely went the 'extra' mile. We wouldn't expect any more/less out of them. Solid Effort!

On-Set Painter:

Sometimes the truth hurts oh so good. Jeremy brought the 'heat' with his accurate description of the year 2020… a dumpster fire. Nothing 'trashy' about this entry, as the design and execution were fabulous!

Costumes:

This entry from wardrobe had truly wonderful use of department specific materials. Using used show card tags and clothespins, wardrobe created a snowflake garland that beautifully 'dressed' our tree. A true 'perfect fit'!

Covid Department:

With an outstanding miniature of the testing experience, the Covid team proved they were in the 'zone'. Meticulously detailed and well thought out, we are glad these are the peeps in charge of our safety. Kudos!

Hair:

The hair department could have just put in any old nutcracker, but they went for a 'cut' above. Extra points for feeding our egos and putting the best Chris Evans face on their ornament. It may have made some other departments 'snippy', but they are only jealous they didn't think of it first. Bellisimo!

Spfx:

This ornament was the 'bomb'! Literally, a Covid-19 bomb. Checking all the marks with originality, use of department specific materials, and an 'explosive' statement. SPFX brought their A-game with this incredible entry. Boom!

Electric:

We were 'shocked' at how good the Electrics' ornament came out. A heart-warming stylistic mix of the look of the old claymation Christmas movies and the sensibility of a laser cat t-shirt. Their comet-riding Rudolph even has a light-up nose! What a 'bright' idea!

Sound:

Some might say that the sound department entry might be 'stripped' down, being that it is just a drawing… but when that drawing is of a naked Santa, it really does change the meaning of our film title, "Don't Look Up". Superb artwork and the humor is on point. Gold Star!

Props:

The Inception of entries, here we have an ornament within an ornament! To make it even better, the inner ornament has the Team Crafty logo! Mad 'props' for the design and originality. Magnificently done!

Camera:

Camera threw down in a big way… so big it could barely hang! A 'picture' perfect Christmas tree made out of film stock. Love the use of materials and really leaning in to the notion "Bigger is always better". No need to 'reel' it in!

Stand-ins:

A mask-wearing Frosty the snowman? Both festive and responsible! They really tried to 'sock' it to the competition with their choice of materials. Great showing!

Make-Up:

You can't 'make' this 'up', the Make-Up department made a tiny face shield! Extra points for the face drawn on it! It may be small in stature, but big in attitude. Awesome!

THE WINNER: THE ELECTRICS!!!
